Timesheets convert clock times into decimal hours, and the break deduction is where most errors creep in. A 9-to-5:30 shift with a 30-minute lunch is not 8.75 hours minus nothing — it's 510 raw minutes less 30, or 480 minutes: exactly 8.00 hours.
